Beginner Guitar Lessons – Finger Dexterity Exercise

This is perhaps the most important exercise to learn and practice for guitar and an excellent warm up for guitarists of any experience. For full length guitar instructional videos, please visit: helpfulvideo.com
Video Rating: 4 / 5

LearningGuitar.BestReviewed.Net – http – New beginner’s guitar vid. It has much more important information for beginner guitarists and I’d suggest watching it. If you’re looking for a great way to learn how to play guitar here it is. I’ve never been able to absorb so much material so fast and see such an improvement in my playing as a result of it. It’s really surprising how fast you can learn when you’re being taught the right way. The guide is called Jamorama and you can download the online guitar lessons from their site to learn how to play guitar yourself. You can also order DVDs and books from them to learn how to play guitar instead of downloading their online guitar lessons if you choose to – I just downloaded mine and can also download tabs and sheet music online while I’m learning from this program. It’ll really help your playing more than you imagine it could – it really has surprised me. You can check it out at the link above. Enjoy!

Hey man.. ive having slight problems when the 6th string or the E string… my fingers wont move really my 4th finger doesnt really press down the string on the 4th fret… Any idea if theres anything i can do to improve my stretch?

  6. Guitar101Ramstein says:

@jjd705 I’m not sure what you mean exactly, try using your right hand to space out the two fingers and they can get the hang of it. If it’s a disability, I still would not say it is going to limit your playing, look at Django Rheinhardt!

  7. Guitar101Ramstein says:

@salester26 It’s normal to feel strain in the fingers, hand arm, all the way up to the shoulder, but try to not strain and keep everything relaxed. For the back of the guitar neck, your thumb should be aprox. behind the position of your middle finger it’s natural;ly for it to move up and down, but not side to side. I will do a video on posture soon, have to get a new camera though.

my fingers are really short. is it normal at first to feel strain in forearm? can someone show me how its supposed to look on the back of guitar? i feel like i am holding the guitar all wrong.. or is this just normal for now

  10. Guitar101Ramstein says:

@TiffanyChoable That’s pretty normal, 3/4 scae guitars arent going to make a huge difference unless you are very small/young. No pain no Gain >:)

  11. TiffanyChoable says:

Oh dear, THERE’S STILL HOPE FOR ME. Today is my first time playing the guitar and my short fingers were in pain. Do you recommend that i get a 3/4 guitar?

  12. jjd705 says:

My ring finger sits against my middle finger, will this effect my ability to learn guitar?

  13. MegaTSkillz says:

@RockMusicTeacher Yeah I find it helpful to release the fret and continue on.

  14. Sydrare says:

Thank you for this excellent lesson. I am kind of old to start learning but this is very helpful for someone like myself that is at the point of learning from the absolute beginning.

fuck yeah, Ramstein as in the airport? or Rammstein the band?

  22. clgosln61 says:

My very first lesson. I feel like my hands are too small and my fingers don’t want to lay flat on the neck so i’m working on being able to put my entire hand in the correct position. I’m determined and think this is a great way to start. I played the piano for years and this is total a different hand positioning.

  23. whitehatable says:

    thank you verry much

  24. godrulesall06 says:

i myself am right handed so this question might seem stupid, but for a person that is left handed, would the general concept still be the same, or would there be a different technique they (left handed people) would have to learn?

  25. TheForthAngel says:

I quite like this. Only got my guitar on Thursday, and already I feel like i can do this fluently. Well at least to 30% to 40% to this videos level. Which isn’t too bad I feel.
