the X-series is a great, affordable, tone worthy box to consider if on a budget. They make a whole series of effects, and will get the job done. Great place to start, if you’ve just begun your tone quest, and have a limited amount of money to spend. Anyhoo….i used a 59 Historic Les Paul , and a Dr Z amp for the demo.

@Imat00l I am very much aware of that. If not I wouldn’t say ” (two different pedals so i shouldn’t be comparing the two) “. -.-

@metalfoxkid12345 The Metal Muff with Top Boost is in a class of its own. There’s no comparison.

hey when i plug my cable from my amp into the first input which is (out 2 mixer) to my amp why does it make alot of humming noise? but if i plug it in to the( out 1 amp) from my amp than it don’t make no humming noise! the funny thing is i set all my setting the same but if i plug into the either input than they sound different why do it do that? all my setting is the same! thanks

@GlenGrunge it is a matter of taste and preference. Doesn’t necessarily need to be the perfect pedal for all Metal Guitarist. In fact, i dun like Metal Zone. (I like metal core though =/ )
