Guitar Scale Mastery Review

In this Guitar Scale Mastery review I will be exploring this membership course that focuses exclusively on the important skill of mastering guitar scales.

Craig Bassett, the creator of Guitar Scale Mastery has created a system that is aimed at intermediate guitar players who want to excel at playing the guitar. The subject of learning scales cannot be ignored if you want to take your guitar playing to the next level.

Learning scales is not often on the priority list for many guitarists because many view it as a boring and dry topic. This may be true to some extent, but Craig has done a wonderful job in creating his training so that learning scales can actually be fun and enjoyable.

In Guitar Scale Mastery you will be taught all the popular guitar scales including all minor and major scales, as well as the pentatonic scales. Learning these scales quickly and easily will have a whole host of benefits to your playing. You will notice improvements in technique and playing lead, an increase in speed and smoothness, and you will be an actual musician, rather than just someone who “plays” the guitar.

The approach that Craig uses in the Guitar Scale Mastery system is based on focusing on developing five skills that he says are essential to becoming a scale master. These five skills are the ears, fingers, eyes, intellect, and applications. Each of these skills are important as a part but when they are put together as a whole learning each scale becomes quick, easy and you will understand music in a completely new and exciting way.

Guitar Scale Mastery Features

  • Become A Musician – Many beginner and intermediate guitar players are happy with learning how to play a few songs but have no knowledge of how the songs are put together or what key they are in. If you want to play solo, improvise or write your own music and songs one day, then learning to play scales effectively is the key.
  • Ear Training – I was so happy that this is part of Guitar Scale Mastery because it is something that I know is very important but I have never been focused that much on it until now. Learning really to “hear” the scales that you are playing and distinguish each note is a powerful skill that is invaluable.
  • Guitar Scale Activators – These special backing tracks are fantastic to practice over and I found that they helped me considerably as I was learning the various scales and guitar licks. Use the activators whenever you practice and you will find that you will remember each scale quickly and easily.

As I complete this Guitar Scale Mastery review, just a word of warning, this is not for beginner guitarists! You will need to be an intermediate player and be able to read basic guitar TAB. If you have these requirements then I wholeheartedly recommend this system to anyone that has the desire to become not only a fantastic guitarist but also an amazing musician at the same time.
