@BanannaThug well, obviously there was a point when he sucked. there’s a point where every guitar player sucks! Like, when you first pick up the instrument without really knowing what you’re doing!

“I started out like everyone else, I really sucked.”
Somehow… I doubt that.

There was this ad up on the vid just now. It was a 5 string bass player, modeling for something. I was about to close it when, I said: “No. It’s better than having some VEVO ad up there.”

@mossberg451 As for Jimi Hendrix it was the same thing, he used to wake up and pretty much play all day. Hendrix didn’t study music theory, but he used to play ALL THE TIME. hell a guy that used to live with him said in a documentary about him that He asked hendrix to sweep there apartment, and he would come back and see, pieces of the broom on the floor, later he found out Jimi would be strumming and shredding the broom like a guitar LOL

@mossberg451 have you ever tried playing guitar? You dont just pick it up and be good at it. That’s impossible It takes alot ALOT of work and practice.
Unlike alot of instruments playing guitar physically changes you. you have to develop muscles in your hands inorder to play it well, and the tips of your fingers have to harden.
Then there are other factors like finger accuracy coordination etc that takes years to master. Satriani also studied ALOT of music theory.

@LuneyTune72 I didn’t say he wrote it, he did a cover of it. Thanks for jumping down my throat. Yes I realize this post is old, but I had to defend myself against your snide insinuations.

@jem7vwhgod Yes, you have to be a giant of an imbecile to think that.. not just about music but of anything in life. Sports, music, art..anything that a person becomes good at it’s because of tons of practice. I too laughed at this fool (mossberg451), too bad I don’t know him personally I’d be feeding him BS stories just to get into his house and screw his mother and sister. Hell, if he’s that stupid I might even BS him into doing my lawn and cook for me twice a week. lol

@mossberg451 You’re a fucking yum yum to 1. fall for that bs and 2. for eating it up..you probably voted for Obama. Any person great at ANYTHING has practiced their asses off to levesl a yum yum like you would never even fathom. To think that ANY human being is born with talent or musical ability is the epitome of stupidity let’s assume he was born with talent to create music and come up with it..how about the technical ability to play it? No one is born with that. That takes years of practice.

@mossberg451 You are absolutely retarded if you think joe statriani doesn’t/didn’t practice. Your string of comments made my day… Time to practice!
